We are a small family owned and operated business that aims to give our customers great service and an even better meal. April short break notice 2024
The Mandarin Restaurant will be closed on the 16th-17th of April 2024 (Tuesday and Wednesday) for a small extended break to rest and recharge.

2023 Christmas and New Years break
The Mandarin Restaurant will be closed from Sunday 24th of December to Monday 1st of January for our holiday break. We will be back to normal starting from the 2nd of January 2024.

The Mandarin Restaurant will be closed on Tuesday 28th of November 2023 for a short extended break.
We will be open back to normal trading hours starting Wednesday 29th 2023 for lunch.

Price changes July 2022
To our wonderful customers,
Since March most of the restaurant industry in Australia has faced incredible pressures due to a combination of rising ingredients, electricity, and fuel prices.
The Mandarin is no exception and has also been hit hard with the recent price increases. As such we will be changing prices of our menu items from the 1st of July 2022.
As Owner’s of the Mandarin this is never an easy decision, but this is necessary for us to continue to provide you with the quality and deliciousness expected of the Mandarin.

Easter Trading Hours 2022
The Mandarin Restaurant’s will be CLOSED for lunch and dinner from Friday 15th (Good Friday) to Monday 18th (Easter Monday).
We will REOPEN back to normal (lunch and dinner) starting Tuesday 19th of April.

Double-Vaccination Requirement – Monday 11th October
In line with the NSW Government regulations as of Monday 11th of October all DINE-IN customers over the age of 16 will be required to have Proof of Vaccination or have a medical exemption.
Take-away and delivery options will still be available to ALL customers.

Dine-In available starting Saturday 11th September
With the announcement of the Armidale Regional Area coming out of lock-down the Mandarin Restaurant starting from Saturday 11th of September dine-in will be available for both for lunch and dinner!

We are please to announce that we are accepting Dine and Discover Vouchers 7 days a week for all Dine-In meals, lunch and dinner. We have recently registered as a COVID-Safe Business.
To ensure that we stay COVID-Safe please ensure that you are not coming in if you are unwell.

For dining in patrons please remember to check in at the counter, with your name, phone number and time of entry.

Our Post-Lockdown Update (2020):
Dine-In is now once again AVAILABLE for both lunch and dinner.
As per the Government’s continued Social Distancing Guidelines, there is a 20-patron limit within our Restaurant. Please wait at the counter as we prepare a table for you. We strongly encourage you to make a table reservation before coming in, to ensure yourself a table.
Our TAKE-AWAY and HOME DELIVERY* options will also be available and will continue as normal.
*Note Delivery is only available during our dinner service.
